Barry began his illustrious singing career as a boy Soprano, performing in over 6 operas including La Boheme, Tosca and Peter Grimes. As a young soprano he toured the world and even sang with Pavarotti.

He has performed and won various singing competitions throughout the country and has appeared in numerous Scottish films.

 

Barry studied Dance at Reid Kerr and has since appeared in over 30 musicals across Britain! These include: WEST SIDE STORY (4 times!) , FAME, OLIVER,

MACK & MABEL and GREASE.

He is no stranger to pantomime and has appeared as Widow Twankey in Aladdin and an Ugly Sister in Cinderella with Apollo Players. He is also a member of Musichoir Scotland - who VOX are appearing alongside this December.

 

Barry is having the time of his life doing what he loves most - singing! With Musichoir he has performed amazing gigs in some of the best venues. Performing at Usher Halls with KERRY ELLIS, JOE MCELDERY, LORNA LUFT and more. Glasgow City Halls, ABC Glasgow and The Kings Theatre have all heard his voice soar through their auditoriums.
